Digital Crop – Focal Length and Pixels on the GFX100RF

Description: The GFX100RF has a fixed 28mm-equivalent lens and simulates longer focal lengths by cropping into its 102 megapixels. Choose a focal length and see how many pixels remain in the resulting image, along with the percentage of the sensor used and a frame showing the cropped area. You can also pick a vertical orientation, in 4:3 or 2:3 proportions, to see how much resolution you give up when deriving a portrait shot from a horizontal frame. A concrete way to see the trade-off between reach and resolution that every crop carries.

Crop digitale
